HOW A COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICS FSR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
- Manage and administer the Rapiscan equipment, capability & infrastructures of the systems deployed throughout the area of operation (AOR).
- Perform first line technical support for field service personnel within the assigned region via phone and through site visits as needed.
- Provide on-site field technical support, including, but not limited to, end-user problem-solving.
- Perform the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair Rapiscan systems.
- Advises customer of all equipment changes and authorized modifications.
- Prepare and submit trip/after action reports which include results and recommendations for product improvement and site efficiency.
- Perform first line technical support for field service personnel within the assigned region via phone and through site visits as needed. Provides on-site field technical support, including, but not limited to, end-user problem-solving.
- Provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of sophisticated equipment and systems.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities at assigned work location.
- Interface with local customer contacts with regards to site operations and service needs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET clearance
- Knowledge of systems to include power distribution and delivery to include Breakers, Switchgear, Relays, Transformers, Drives (VFD), and/or controls plc logic.
- Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electronic and/or Hydraulic Equipment.
- Minimum of two years Electronics/Communications technical experience. Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 3+ years of experience.
- Two years in troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair of electronic equipment.
- Experience in working in hostile and austere environments.
- Installation and maintenance of Rapiscan/X-ray systems and applications.
