About the role

As a Governance Advisor and key member of the One Giant Leap Governance team, you will provide support and oversight on all reporting inputs to executive comms, including continuously seeking to enhance the processes that enable the collation of key information from your stakeholders.

This role will actively provide secretariat services to our Value Stream Steering committees, owning the communication of all actions, agendas and decisions, and provide relevant information to the Governance Lead for further escalation. You'll collaborate with Workstream Leads and Delivery Leads to ensure all reporting is of a quality expected from Senior leaders and support them to upskill where necessary.

This role will manage, improve and maintain all Value Stream Steering documentation and communication channels, including providing advice on and implementing continuous improvements on all matters subject to Steering Committee Governance.

If good quality communication and data is at the heart of what drives you, then this role is for you.

What you will bring

  • You will bring to the role superior organisation, administration and time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously.
  • A background in Governance or Secretariat function is preferred, however other roles where attention to detail and engaging with executive or senior leadership is evident are equally beneficial.

  • Some of the must-haves include exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to self manage and multitask under tight deadlines, ability to deal with sensitive information with absolute confidentiality, as well as a track record of excellence in delivery of support services.
  • You are articulate in the way you communicate and know how to ensure clarity so that others are also clear.

What's in it for you:

In our diverse and inclusive environment, our people grow their agile mindset, learn, evolve and utilise their skills, while being empowered to make decisions.

We offer a competitive package and bonus, great banking benefits, heaps of personal and career development opportunities, flexible working styles and great parental leave benefits.

You will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities. You will work in a successful and supportive team environment and be a part of the growth story that is ASB.
