We are recruiting Manufacturing Support Technician (CSD Group) to join our diverse team in AbbVie North Dublin
The role of the Manufacturing Support Technician is to: Investigate manufacturing non-conformances (CAPA’S) through TrackWise and using the following lean tools to prevent re-occurrences. The 5 Whys, Fishbone (RCPS) , Poka-yoke (Mistake Proofing), and Working with cross-functional teams on investigations.
Support new product introductions to the site
Manufacturing support technicians join/lead OpEx projects teams within the manufacturing/operations group. The 5S System, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Chart, and Kaizen (Continuous Improvement)
- Liaise with Operations and cross functional teams in investigations (Non-Conformances / CAPA’s) and or associated investigations.
- Provide support to the production team in the preparation of documentation, collation of data and tracking of investigations.
- Control the flow of documentation within the one vault (Electronic documentation system) for generating, authoring, reviewing, tracking, and approving cGMP documentation.
- Update manufacturing documentation batch records / SOPs through one vault.
- Change management for operations. Raising and tracking operations change controls.
Education & Experience
- Level 6 qualification in science, business, or relevant technical discipline is preferred.
- 3 years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience with some compression, granulation, coating, encapsulation exposure, is preferred with at least 1 years’ experience in technical writing. Experience in a quality systems role may be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing practices such as Lean, Six Sigma. White belt, green belt, OpEx.
- Advanced knowledge of personal computer hardware and software applications, specifically Trackwise, Microsoft Word, Excel, One Vault, or similar electronic documentation systems.
