BEE Analyst [South Africa]


 

Qualification & Experience:
  • Minimum of a Degree (Finance, Law, Business Administration, Project Management.
  • Skills Development Facilitator Accreditation is advantageous.
  • 4- 5 years BEE experience.
General Requirements:
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own a reliable car.
  • Present a professional image in conduct, attitude, and attire.
  • Network with clients to build relationships and sustain them.
Skills and Specifications

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • write minutes and reports for meetings
  • write and design advertising and marketing
  • material for the agency
  • to originate, correct and edit documents
  • Have a good understanding of English grammar
  • communicate telephonically and in person at an executive level
  • explain to clients the BEE legislation and documentary requirements of the verification process.
  • draft verification scorecards, plans, and reports
Information technology:

Ability to record, manipulate and create data electronically.
  • Use Microsoft Office for correspondence, documentation plans, and reports
  • use the software package for verifications
B-BBEE:

Ability to understand, interpret and explain legislation and regulations pertaining to BBBEE. Have a general understanding of company law and accounting systems.
  • Understand legislation pertaining to B-BBEE Codes, Sector Codes & R47-03
  • Be able to explain basics to clients regarding verification legislation and processes
  • Understand and know all B-BEE legislation and be able to explain and interpret it for the client.
  • Have a general understanding of the company and related law and accounting systems.
  • Monitor market trends to develop and improve existing products and services
Problem-Solving:

Ability to listen, analyse situations, and liaise with clients, analysts, committees, and management.
  • Respond to client questions and problems regarding the verification process and documentary requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • High level of project management skills
Document Management:

Ability to organise, amend, maintain, and manage all documentation pertaining to the verification process.
  • Compile, collate, amend, and maintain all verification documentation.
  • Control and distribute up-to-date documents to all staff concerned
  • Manage and archive obsolete documents
  • Control security of the filing system
Numeracy:

Ability to perform basic calculations pertaining to the verification process.
  • Total measurement procurement spends
  • Indicative profit margin
  • Have some knowledge of statistical sampling
  • Have a basic understanding of a company's financial statements
