Your responsibilities
As a Junior HR Controller & Payroll Manager, you will be part of a global operating HR team which runs the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, employee administration, enforcing company policies and practices. Simultaneously the team is responsible for the continuous development of HR processes within the organization and (automatization) projects. The focus of this role is to support in the following areas:
HR Controlling
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly documents for bookkeeping purposes (e.g. HR provisions, Software Capitalization, Intercompany Relations)
- Preparation of evaluations, analyses and interpretations of all HR reports as a basis for decision-making for the management and HR management
- Contribution to the further development of the HR KPI dashboard
- Proactively identify HR Controlling initiatives and development opportunities
Payroll & Remuneration
- Processing of monthly payroll in cooperation with external service providers for Europe, Middle East and Hong Kong
- Providing supporting documents for monthly payroll accounting to external service providers
Audit & Regulations
- Maintaining accurate employee records, account balances and detailed records for auditing
- Preparation of documents for auditors
- Following and guided by the implemented remuneration policy and legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. IVV, WVV)
General HR Management and Administration
- Support and management of the complete employee lifecycle including recruiting, global onboarding / offboarding process and employee administration
- Managing health and safety regulations at work
- Developing and implementing policies / manuals based on legal requirements and requested by management (e.g. Global HR Manual)
- General HR Management: taking a critical view of HR operations to identify opportunities to improve internal controls
Your profile
- Education in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- First experiences in HR Controlling and/or HR Payroll Administration
- Strong analytical skills
- Service and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, team player
- Very good English and German language skills in written and spoken form
- Experience with HR Management Systems (e.g. Personio) and tools like Microsoft Power BI is a plus
