About the Roles:
We are inviting expressions of interest for multiple roles to provide camp management services including village management, catering, grounds management, mine site cleaning, accommodation cleaning, tavern, retail and associated services. The village is located in the Kimberley region of Northern Western Australia just outside of Kununurra and provides a ‘home away from home’ for up to 220 contractors and staff.
These roles will be working in a fast paced, high volume kitchen, providing food services through the preparation and delivery of meals from production facilities to meal areas for up to 220 people. The village is located in the Kimberley region of Northern Western Australia, a scenic bus trip from Kununurra, Kununurra being less than 1 hour flight from Darwin or 3 hour flight from Perth. Catering services include both buffet and crib-style providing mouth-watering and nutritiously hearty meals that you are proud to serve and display.
Kitchen Hand:
Assist with meal preparation following Chef directives and food safety guidelines
Cleaning and washing up the kitchen area and equipment
Perform general cleaning and maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
Assist with restock and stock rotation, loading and unloading supplies, stores and equipment
Assisting with stock take and inventory control for all kitchen supplies
Ensuring high level of customer service is exercised at all times
Sound knowledge of food safety required
Previous cooking experience highly advantageous
Completed certificate II in Kitchen Operations desirable

About you:
To be considered for these roles, you will have the following:
Previous experience and relevant qualifications/certificates as listed above - preference will be given to FIFO experience
Physically Fit and energetic
Ability to work in remote locations and extreme weather conditions
Experience following safety processes and procedures including food safety and chemical handling
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
The ability to pass an extensive pre-employment medical assessment, including regular drug and alcohol testing
Unrestricted Australian work rights
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
Current Australian Manual Drivers License – highly advantageous
