How you will make an impact:
This position is a key role as Norway site finance leader via supporting Beads Strategic Business Segment (SBS), which is the largest SBS in Sample Preparation BU, as well as ensuring all country financial operation including strategic site capacity expansion project. This role will provide insight into the financial performance of the business, while providing support to translate strategy into business tactics. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the financial analysis, planning, and reporting activities for Beads, and will partner with the business leaders to develop actions and recommendations to enable the business to achieve its financial objectives. The candidate is required to possess sufficient business insight and the ability to coordinate multiple, simultaneous capacity expansion workstreams in order to drive the business forward by working within a sophisticated, matrixed environment.
What will you do?
SBS Leadership
- Provide financial leadership and be an active partner to the SBS Leadership Team, combining business strategy support and counsel with regards to long-term and short-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts
- Use forward-looking models and analyses to provide financial insights into the organization’s plans and operating budgets
- Handle Business Segment’s P&L, New Product Introduction and investments value
- Support annual budgeting, financial reporting and analyses. Also drive the financial future and decision making including financial and business performance risks and mitigation strategies
Norway Site Leadership Team
- Member of the Norwegian Leadership Team and Board of Director in the Norwegian legal entity with signature rights for all contracts and contact person for local authorities
- Lead and assist various Business and Operations discussions and handle approval process for investments (incl. legal, real estate matters)
- Key Steering team member in multiple project teams (overall expansion project, DP5 project, OCC, Bridge, capacity etc.)
- Supervise Norway site operation finance and partner with other sites as well.
How you will get here:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related subject areas
Experience:
- Ideally 7+ years of wide-ranging financial reporting experience
- Confirmed business partner to senior leaders to influence for stronger business outcomes
- Experience working in environments with strong cross-functional collaboration to get results
- Business modelling and forecasting, including a strong understanding of pricing models, sales trends, financial documents and valuation drivers
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to partner with management at all levels and to lead major projects and initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work optimally across a matrix organization
- Attention to detail, process oriented, and an eye for improvement
