JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and manage the marketing strategies in order to achieve the sales and profit objectives
Attend and participate in sales and business development meetings
Working closely together with relevant stakeholders across other departments to formulate and execute advertising & promotion campaigns, pricing and so forth
Keep track of up-to-date analysis and market intelligence on the industry and key competitors
Management of the Sales team to maintain a high standard of service quality
Develop and manage long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and identify new business opportunities with prospects
Carry out sales trips to all business areas as specified both domestically and internationally as required
Develop the Budget for each year with guidance from Area Sales and Marketing team and Hotel General Manager
Provide monthly reports on Sales activities and recommendations for Sales activities that help grow the business
Work closely with operations and Revenue Management to ensure synergy in strategies and delivery of packages, promotions and guest experiences
Be able to review and discuss forecasting of Sales related activities and room production with recommendations for down periods
Identify opportunities for future sales activates and implement events as per company guidelines and initiatives
To perform any duties assigned by the Hotel Management Team deemed necessary
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE
Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
Minimum 6-8 years of relevant sales leadership experience
Experience as the Head of Sales Department is preferable
Concrete sales experience with proven track record
Knowledgeable in industry trends, and preferable has an existing client network
Positive attitude with good selling and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills with excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
