Entry Requirements:
Applicants should have: –
(a) a Hong Kong Degree or equivalent;
(b) minimum of two years’ full-time post-qualifications working experience; and
(c) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
(Note: Grade C in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth).

Duties:
(a) To supervise and monitor the three Administrative Sections in Regional Office (East)’s (RO(E)) offices at Nan Fung Commercial Centre in Kowloon Bay (Nan Fung) and Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices (CSWGO), and Central Prosecution Unit in Chinachem Tsuen Wan Plaza for provision of efficient and effective general support services;
(b) To manage supply of services, furniture and equipment and consumable items for the offices;
(c) To liaise with other government departments, building management offices and relevant contractors/suppliers on accommodation-related issues of the offices;
(d) To ensure the smooth operation of Customer Service Counters of RO(E)’s office in Nan Fung and CSWGO;
(e) To serve as sub-imprest holder of the offices and to achieve optimal use of financial resources and proper control of inventories in the Administrative Sections;
(f) To assist Group Head in enhancing staff morale and team spirit in RO(E) by organizing staff recreation and team building activities; and
(g) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Other Job-related Requirements: The hours and venues of work may be varied having regard to the operational needs of the department. The successful candidate may be required to (a) work irregular hours and overtime, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; and (b) work occasionally outdoors as required by supervisors.

Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for one year.

Fringe Benefits
14 days paid annual leave will be granted to the successful candidate. The eligibility for rest days, statutory holidays (or substitute holidays), maternity / paternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, is in line with those provided for under the Employment Ordinance. A gratuity may be granted at the end of the contract period if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary received during the contract period.
