Are you the MECHANICAL DESIGNER for our technology industry customer in Rauma, Finland?
Our customer is a family-owned company dating back to the 1960's. In this role, you are part of the design and development team for emission-free multipurpose off-highway machines and work equipment. In a versatile role supported by an experienced team, you create new solutions, develop older applications and bolt-on equipment for all seasons. The product range spans four different sizes with first version launched in late 1980's. We appreciate your prior knowledge of 4-wheel utility vehicle design, both mechanical and hydraulic. Any experience of battery powered vehicle electrification/automation is a nice bonus. This is a recruitment assignment aiming at long term employment with the customer.
We expect of you:
- M.Sc./B.Sc. engineering degree (e.g. mechanical, automotive).
- 3-5 years relevant mechanical design experience.
- documented 3D CAD mechanical design experience (preferably Solidworks).
- familiar with wheel-mounted multipurpose machine concept and hydraulic system knowledge.
- good teamworking skills coupled with ability to work independently.
- interest in product development and desire to learn new things.
- fluent written and spoken English, other languages are seen as advantage.
