Exciting opportunity for a Part Time Payroll Administrator at Interface Construction Group!
We are currently looking for a part time Payroll Administrator with strong Excel skills. Work will be remote, so ability to work independently and online is needed. Experience with ADP and QuickBooks an asset.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and process biweekly payroll accurately and on time using previously created Excel workbooks.
- Verify payroll documents and reports for accuracy and operational guidelines.
- Process ROEs accurately and on time.
- Respond in a timely manner to payroll related questions and assist with resolution to issues.
- Calculate manual payments when required.
- Responsible for quarterly and year-end processes including preparation, reconciliation, and distribution of T4 earnings.
- Monitors WSIB remittance and report premiums directly through online portal.
- Complete benefit deduction calculations as well as adding and removing individuals from multiple benefit providers.
Key Skills and Characteristics:
- Ability to work independently and multi-task to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Mid to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with ADP and QuickBooks payroll a strong asset.
- Experience with other payroll related programs (WISB, remittances, ROEs) needed.
- Critical thinking/problem solving; strategize and use judgement to make decisions and solve problems, consulting appropriate authority when necessary.
