At 3 to 7 years experience as Software system designer in Automotive domain like Power Train
-
Feature/Subsystem ownership in ICE-EV customer projects (e.g.: specialist in CAN )
-
Responsible for Customer interaction and product requirement analysis.
-
Responsible for System Requirement, Design & Implementation of Functions or Base SW development (Diagnostics UDS & Memory stack)
-
Software Algorithm design for Engine Management System (EMS) for passenger cars (Gasoline/Diesel).
-
Requirement handling from automotive OEMs
-
Good knowledge on CAN, ISO14229, & UDS standards
-
Good programming and debugging skills in communication protocol like CAN, CAN FD, Flexray and CAN related tools
-
Create HLD (high level design) of SW algorithm, break down of requirement to different SW LLD (Low level design) modules
-
Handle and discuss requirements with OEMs on open points related to assigned design requests
-
Coordinate requirements (LLD) between function teams
-
Carry out needed System Tests, Delivery Tests, safety tests where needed
-
Create a rough design proposal together with function teams and discuss with OEMs
-
Support to calibration teams & project management where-ever necessary
-
Support in analyzing issues related to different engine functionalities.

Supporting SSD, FMEA activities
-
Providing quick prototype solutions, as well as implementation of robust series solutions
-
Testing experience on Engine/vehicle test benches would be preferred.
-
Experience in summer/winter trips with automotive OEMs would be added advantage.
-
Working knowledge of Real Time Operating System, micro-controllers, Target HW/Emulators/debuggers

Knowledge on SW algorithm modeling tools like MATLAB, ASCET etc.
-
Knowledge on measurement & calibration tools like ETAS – INCA etc.

SDOM knowledge preferable

Experience in working with International Teams/Inter-Cultural Exposure is an advantage

Good understanding in SW project life cycle and tools.

Good in debugging, testing and investigation skills

Good understanding of Embedded Software Development in Automotive domain

Experience in using change management and version management tools (like RequestOne, SDOM, etc)

Experience in using tools like, ECU.WorX, Provisor, MARS, Inkscape, BlueDocu
-
Experience in using tools like, CANalyser,MATLAB,SIMULINK,Rational,
-
Experience in using HiL testing environment (LCPT)
-
Exposure to working with JOEM (J-Japan) will be an added advantage
Qualifications
BE/B.Tech/M. Tech in Electronics background
Experience :- 4 - 7 years in Powertrain domain
