Main Objectives and Activities
- Define and implement an Automation testing framework (common reusable method library, data creation methods, utilities …) considering multiple factors such as cost of development and maintenance effort, technology currently used at Bred or compatibility with internal Bred tools.
- Become the reference and the leader for Automation testing at Bred IT and provide technical direction to maintain an innovative test automation framework and solution.
- Develop test automation scripts and execution of those scripts, to help increase quality in Bred deliverables and provide the team the fastest feedback for any changes in the products/services.
- Understand the business requirements, user flows, and system architecture to be able to design how to automate the test in API and end-to-end levels.
- Maintenance and Enhancement on the Test Automation Framework for continuous utilization of Automation testing by Bred.
- Integrate automation testing with Bred development pipeline (Jenkins, GIT).
- Define automated test criteria, and develop automated tests for all functionality that meets specified automation criteria
- Optimize and fasten the automatic test execution time and define the proper test suite for each stage of development pipeline
Education
- Bachelor’s degree BSc. Computer Science.
Language skills
- English mandatory, French is a plus
Experience and Skills
- 5 years at least in automation test
- Team player, Open-minded, anticipation and quick adaptation.
- Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle is preferable
- Initiative and proactivity are required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Quality Assurance mind oriented.
- Rigor and organization skills are required.
- Banking knowledge is a plus.
Technical Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, XCTest, Espresso Test, Robot Framework, Junit, TestNG, OCR/Image-based testing, and etc.)
- Experience in testing web, iOS, or Android applications
- Experience with JIRA and integration of automation testing with JIRA.
- Proficient in any programming language (Java, Ruby, NodeJS, C++, Python).
- Experience in performance or load testing is a plus
- Experience in developing automated internal frameworks, building monitor system, or improving testing effectiveness is a plus
- Experience in continuous delivery culture is a plus.
