Baker [New Zealand]


 

Our popular Dairy Flat Bakery in Northshore, Auckland are looking for reliable and experienced bakers to join our busy team.

Suitable applicants

Must be able to start at 3:00am and working weekends
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Have at least 1 or more years of experiences as a baker

Duties will included:
Producing fresh breads, buns
Kneading, cutting, moulding and shaping dough.
Producing fresh sweets cakes, slices, doughnut, biscuits
Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
Producing fresh pies and pastries.
Preparing and cooking pastry fillings.
Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading and cooling of batches of pies and pastry products.
Maintaining and checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment.
Operating mixers, pastry roller and dough moulder machines.
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
Managing and controlling quality of stock levels
Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
Work using high food safety practices. Ensure workplace safety in managing self and others.
Liaising with bakery Manager on any concern or suggestions

You will be paid at $28 to $35 per hour depending on level of skill and experience. We guarantee minimum of 35 working hours per week.
