We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team!
Your day to day
You will be working in a vibrant environment, so you can never expect to have just another typical day at work. It’s definitely not your comfort zone, but you will never get bored, that is a promise.
As part of the team, you will work with Solution Architects, Developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and QAs to ensure the validity of work. You will also liaise with clients and stakeholders as part of a project team. You will be using the latest tools, techniques and methodologies.
On any particular day you will be doing several of the following:
- Participate in agile meetings such as daily stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Participate in design sessions with Solution Architects, Developers and Data Engineers.
- Create and configure cloud based services (Azure / AWS / GCP).
- Create and configure cloud based networking for client solutions.
- Create and configure logging and monitoring for Azure / AWS / GCP solution.
- Develop automations on Azure / AWS and GCP.
- Document cloud based client solutions.

You are at home in many different aspects of cloud engineering, including networking and security best practices, and have experience in at least one cloud tech stack.
Your professional expertise
You are expected to have 2+ years minimum experience on:
- Administrating cloud technology services (Azure , AWS or GCP).
- Designing / Implementing best practice cloud landing zones including, Cloud Adoption Frameworks, Security, BC/DR, Elasticity/Scalability, Logging, Monitoring/Alerts, Compliance and Cost Management.
- Creating deployments using infrastructure as code (preferably in Terraform).
- Creating networks / network rules (ideally in Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Developing scripts/automations in scripting languages such PowerShell / Bash
You will stand out if you have any of the following:
- Any Azure, AWS or GCP certifications.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
- Experience with DevOps and creating CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions / Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Language experience, in particular with Python / SQL / Java / C#.
- Working in an Agile team.
